I haven't replaced the power supply for the speakers yet but I put the back of the chair together and back onto the rest of the chair.
It still fits and I can't feel the speaker controls so thats a plus.
Just need a new power supply or amp now.

Some Pictures Of My Two Nerf N-Strike Guns
Here are some pictures of my two Nerf guns after I reassembled my Longshot this evening after gluing some parts.

Longshot and box at top and Alpha Trooper below.
You can see the difference between the Longshot picture and the actual longshot.

Page Redesign
I have redesigned the page and it looks pretty good.
The background was made from a matrix wallpaper and Adobe Photoshop.

I think it looks pretty good, the page header is a little bland but it'll do for now.

Dual Screen Wallpaper
I was bored and wanted a matching wallpaper, the smaller left screen had a matrixy wallpaper and my big 1440x900 screen had a 63 Corvette Stingray.
I found a matrix wallpaper at 1440x900 and used that and Adobe Photoshop to create this wallpaper.
I have the semi-visible 'HUNTERBAIT' at different heights on the two wallpapers due to my screens being at different heights on my desk.
My two monitors. You can just make out the text with my phone camera.

NEW GUN!!
I just bought a NERF Alpha Trooper CS - 18!!
$23.20 at Target because of their sale.

I'm gonna remove the air restrictor eventually and maybe stretch the spring a little.
The best bit has to be the 18 streamline/clip system dart drum clip!

Bwahhaha my brother is going to be so jealous :P

:D :D :D
Longshot Integration Mod
The front gun was going to be connected to the longshot trigger but the string i have didn't work and I didn't have any wire, so I attached the time-old classic keyring trigger.
The tape on the back of the front gun is holding it firmly until I obtain some better form of hold.
There are 2 small bolts in the right side of the shell holding the right part of the front gun on and only one screw on the left half of the shell.
I used part of a nasal spray lid to hold down the spring in the front gun so it doesn't spring out and screw everything up.
It works reasonably well and I'm happy with it for the moment :D

Tada! Now I need to make a new barrel extension >:D

Change of Plans
Instead of leaving my rifle long and adding a laser pointer, I integrated the two guns together!
It still needs some internal and cosmetic tweaks but it should turn out pretty well.
It looks ok but I still need to get the internals working.

NERF Longshot CS-6
I also removed all the guts from the little gun that attached the the end and re-purposed it as a barrel extension. I added some rubber washers to help create a seal between the two guns.
I also re-tensioned the spring in the firing mechanism and put some eyes onto the tactical rail.
The gun is 98cm long and I plan on putting a laser pointer into the hole left by the barrel that I removed from the end gun.
I know the pictures crap but I took it on my phone.

Speaker Chair Update
Dad and I connected the power supply and Left speaker to the chair on the weekend but the power supply seems to have died so were looking for a new one.
See the Speaker Chair here.

Thats about all for now and a more in depth tutorial for this mod should soon be uploaded to Instructables once I finish it.
Update: Left Speaker connected and controller re-wired to Transformer.
Transformer seems to have blown so a new 12v 1.2a transformer is on the list.

Update 18/02/10
I removed the light thingy from my drive bay.
It looks much more serious now an im thinkin of mounting a 120mm fan behind the panels, i might get a peice of black plastic and cut it 2 fit, drill a great big hole in it, add some mesh and stick a fan in it :D

I got bored and a while ago I'd seen a guide on how to make a test PSU on Casemodgod.com
I had this old PSU and thought why not so I hacked out the MB wires and stuck sum other crap in it and tada. (And i spray painted it as well, and the main cover has clear contact on it, so the paint doesnt get scratched off.)
